Nutrition is so much more than “this is healthy and this is not”. Maintaining good nutrition and health requires a holistic examination of our bodies. What we put into it affects our physical chemistry while our environment affects our mental wellbeing and how we take care of ourselves. The two are inextricably connected.

We take pride in being told our sessions are so much more than just learning about diets. Not only do we want you to have a great relationship with your dietitian, we want you to have an even greater relationship with yourself.

I started PrimeLife Nutrition in order to bridge the gap between what we think healthy looks like, versus what the science-backed research shows us is true health.

All PrimeLife dietitians are aligned around helping clients make positive behavioral changes using intuitive eating principles, motivational interviewing techniques, and providing relevant education and tools.

Whether you want to lose weight. lower your cholesterol, change your relationship with food, or learn how to create healthy meals that set a good example for your kids, PrimeLife is here to help you achieve your goals.

As a kid, Kristen was a very picky eater who rarely tried new foods. Kristen was introduced to the world of nutritional science when a 30-pound weight gain in college prompted her to learn how to eat right for her body and stay active.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree at West Chester University and went on to complete her dietetic internship at the University of Houston to become a Registered Dietitian. She has five years of clinical experience, has been practicing nutritional counseling for over four years, and was a certified personal trainer. She works with weight management, heart health, sports performance, and overall improved nutrition.

When she isn’t helping with her clients, Kristen loves to walk on the Perkiomen Trail with her family or go out to eat at a new restaurant.

Kristen found her passion for nutrition in a different way. When she was younger, she was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. As a 12-year-old, nutrition never crossed her mind until it became a huge priority in her life. This is when her passion began and she decided to take the steps to become a Registered Dietitian.

Kristen earned her Bachelor’s degree at West Chester University in Nutrition and Dietetics. She went on to complete her dietetic internship and Master’s degree in Community Nutrition at West Chester University as well. Kristen also has a certification in Functional and Integrative Nutrition through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. As a Registered Dietitian, Kristen has shared her passion for food and balanced eating with the clients that she works with. Kristen is committed to helping clients improve their health with practical, accurate nutrition information.

Patricia Vinokurov

Patricia’s passion for nutrition started at a young age where she found herself falling into an unhealthy mindset with food like many other young adults have. Her goal is to help others stay strong and be able to form positive relationships with food and nutrition. As a Registered Dietitian, she wants to help individuals break that cycle.

 
Patricia graduated from La Salle University with her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition. She completed her dietetic internship with Cedar Crest College while simultaneously completing her Masters of Science in Clinical Nutrition.
 

Patricia has been challenged and exposed to a variety of settings, patients, and medical conditions. She has been able to work 1:1 with patients in the long term care setting, work in the community, and in schools with children. She has been able to share the knowledge from her experiences with the clients she works with.

 
When she is not working, her hobbies include long runs to relieve stress, spending time with family and friends, and dancing!
